The general public is advised of the following traffic management arrangements:
1. Parking will be restricted on Victoria Road.
2. Parking will be restricted on the western side of Market Street between Cayon St and Jabou's Shop.
3. The portion of Taylor's Range between East Park Range and College will be closed to vehicular traffic.
4. Traffic will flow in one direction from east to west on Springfield Road. This is the road outside Government House.
5. Traffic will flow from north to south along the road leading from the St. Johnston Community Center to Cayon St.
6. Parking for Ministers of Government will be on the parking lot adjacent to the Victoria Pre School.
7. Parking for other dignitaries and family members of the late former Governor General will be at 17 Degrees on the upper portion of the ground.
8. Parking for the general public will be at the Youth and Community grounds and the Old Basseterre High School grounds. Parking restrictions will take effect from 6:00 am on Thursday 20th July, until after the funeral.
The Traffic Department is asking the general public for its fullest cooperation with the restrictions.
