The Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Nevis Street, St. Kitts, on January 10th, 2024, between 8:30PM and 9:30PM.
Initial inquiries suggest that forty-six (46)-year-old Mandefro France of New Road, St. Kitts, sustained a wound to one of his legs when two (2) assailants opened fire in his direction. Mr France was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he was treated and warded in stable condition.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately informed of its developments. Should anyone have information about this and other criminal incidents, the RSCNPF encourages them to contact the nearest Police station or the Crime Stoppers’ Hotline, 707. Any assistance in the pursuit of justice will be greatly appreciated.
