HOUSE BREAKING AND LARCENY: At about 12:10hrs on 24/4/2023, John Samuel, a teacher of the Basseterre High School called the Basseterre police station and reported that the school’s Home Economic Center has been broken into and a few items were discovered missing such as (1) old coffee maker, (1) new coffee maker, (2) blenders and (1) air fryer. No. 105 Cpl Percival was informed. ENQUIRIES: No 141 Const Challenger returned from duty on motor jeep G-350 and reported that he responded to a report at the Basseterre High School where he saw and spoke to Clishelle Hanley of #66 Mansion Expansion and she reported that the BHS Home Economic room was last secured on 21-04-2023 at about 13:45 hrs by Teresa Fyfield Old Road. Clishelle also reported that at about 09:30 hrs in 24-04-2023 when she arrived on the School compound she discovered that the wooden door that is located on the mountain side of the building was broken into, she further reported that checks were made and the following items were missing. One Air dryer, value $250 ecc, two master tech coffee makers value $125.00 ecc each, one master tech blender value $99.00 ecc, $45.00 ecc in notes and $45.00 in coins, keys for the various cupboards. Occurrence took place between 12:45 hrs and 13:15 hrs on 24-04-2023. No 105 W-Cpl Percival was informed.   

 

56. BUILDING BREAKING AND LARCENY: (SK369/2023) At about 13:24hrs on Monday 24th April, 2023 Cpl Percival of the Beat and Patrol Unit relayed a report to the Criminal Investigation Department. No. 282 Det Belle and No.397 Det Gaskin responded to the scene to conduct inquiries. Upon arrival on the scene at The Beach Allen Primary School the Detectives saw and spoke to Chishell Hanley of Mansion Extension a Basseterre High School Food and Nutrition teacher who reported that the BHS F&N lab located on the Beach Allen Primary School grounds was secured on Friday 21st April, 2023 at about 13:15hrs. Ms. Hanley reported that when she arrived at the classroom on 24th April, 2023 at about 09:30hrs she observed that a wooden entry door of the lab was damaged and a number of items were missing from the lab. Items missing include one (1) Master Tech coffee maker, two (2) Master Tech blenders, one (1) Brentwood Air fryer, ninety ($90.00) dollars from a cash pan and an assortment of keys. The Detectives were unable to ascertain the exact time and date when the breaking would have taken place and attempts were made to get in contact with night guards of the Beach Allen Primary School but were unsuccessful. The point of entry was identified to have been a north eastern wooden door with visible damage done to the door but no damage to the locking mechanisms of the door along with foot prints that were visible on the door.  The Detectives looked at camera footage in the surrounding area but no useful information was obtained. The scene was processed by CSO Clarke and further investigations to be made by Det Gaskin. Occurrence took place between 13:24hrs and 15:00hrs. Sgt Battice was informed.
