On June 4th, 2024, the officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) executed a search of an abandoned building in Dorset Village, St. Kitts. The search resulted in the recovery of a plastic bag containing what was suspected to be seven (7) grams of cocaine. The suspected narcotics were subsequently taken into police custody. To date, no one has been found responsible for the suspected contraband. In a separate incident on June 8th, 2024, between 9 AM and 10 AM, three (3) rounds of ammunition were recovered in the Conaree area by patrolling St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) soldiers. The ammunition was found inside a container that was observed in the brush near the basketball court. The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit and the contraband was taken into custody. Investigations into both matters are under way and the general public will be kept appropriately abreast of their developments. Should anyone have any information about these criminal matters, we are strongly encouraging you to contact the nearest Police station, or call the Crime Stoppers’ hotline, 707. The RSCNPF deeply appreciates the cooperation and collaboration of the public as the organisation continues to work diligently to address criminal activities and safeguard the well-being of our Federation’s communities
