Two (2) new Crime Scene Response units have been commissioned to the Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF). In a brief ceremony on July 19th, 2023 at the Police Training Complex on St. Kitts, the vehicles were officially drafted into the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s (RSCNPF) fleet of law enforcement vehicles.
The two Ford Rangers pick-up trucks are were purchased by the Federation from “RMA Automotive” in Taiwan. The vehicles’ retrofitting was designed by the Director of the Crime Scene Unit, Mrs. Latoya Lake-Marshall. With her guidance and direction, the company performed the upgrades, bringing the vehicles’ capabilities on par with the Federation’s crime scene investigation and forensic examination requirements. Since the vehicles’ arrival on May 26th, 2023, the staff of the Forensic and Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Units have undergone the training required to properly utilise, manoeuvre, and maintain the vehicles.
